Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for choosing Rentloco! This Refund and Return Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for refunds and returns of rented furniture and electronics (“Leased Property”) from RENTLOCO(OPC) PVT. LTD. (“Lessor”). By renting from Rentloco, the Lessee agrees to comply with the refund and return policy stated herein.

Refund Policy: 

a. Security Deposit: The advance payment of 3 months made at the time of delivery serves as a security deposit. At the end of the 3-month rental period, this security deposit will be consumed as rent.

b. Non-refundable Charges: Monthly rental charges are non-refundable.

c. Early Termination: In the event of early termination by the Lessee, or termination by Lessor due to Lessee’s default, there will be no refund of the remaining current unpaid portion of the lease.

d. Damaged or Missing Items: The cost of repairing or replacing any damaged or missing items will be deducted from the security deposit.

Return Policy:

a. Return Condition: Lessee agrees to return the Leased Property to Lessor at the end of the Lease Term or as otherwise required in the same condition as when received, ordinary wear excepted.

b. Return Notice: Lessee shall give at least 7 days’ prior notice to Rentloco regarding the intention to return the Leased Property.

c. Return Process: Rentloco will arrange for the pickup of the Leased Property at no additional cost. Lessee must ensure that the Leased Property is available for pickup on the scheduled date and in a suitable condition for collection.

d. Quality Check: Upon return, Rentloco will conduct a quality check of the Leased Property. If any damages beyond ordinary wear and tear are identified, the cost of repair or replacement will be deducted from the security deposit.

Damage Charges:

a. Damages Beyond Ordinary Wear and Tear: Lessee is responsible for any damages beyond ordinary wear and tear to the Leased Property during the rental period. b. Assessment and Charges: Rentloco will assess the damages and provide a detailed report to Lessee. The cost of repairing or replacing the damaged items will be deducted from the security deposit. If the cost exceeds the security deposit, Lessee will be responsible for paying the remaining balance.

Refund Process:

a. Security Deposit Deductions: After deducting any applicable charges for damages, missing items, or outstanding balances, Rentloco will refund the remaining security deposit to the Lessee.

b. Refund Timeline: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of the return of the Leased Property and completion of the assessment.

Non-Return or Delayed Return: a. Non-Return: If the Leased Property is not returned at the end of the Lease Term or as required, Lessee will be liable for the full retail value of the Leased Property (Lessor’s current retail price) in addition to any other outstanding payments and charges. b. Delayed Return: In the event of delayed return without prior notice, Lessee may be subject to additional charges for the extended rental period.
